Monterey Park’s Bruggemeyer Library Highlights Free HomeworkCA Online Tutoring

MONTEREY PARK, Los Angeles County — The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is highlighting HomeworkCA, a no-cost online tutoring and test-preparation resource for California K–12 students.

The program appears in the city library’s current spotlights, which encourage families to explore online help outside ordinary classroom hours. Online tutoring may be useful for students who need extra support with assignments or preparing for tests, but service hours and the availability of tutors depend on the provider.

How families can start

Residents can follow the program link from the library website or ask librarians for help accessing the service. The library is at 318 S. Ramona Avenue, and the main number is 626-307-1333. Its published public hours are Monday and Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m., and Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parents should check the platform’s current eligibility, subject coverage and privacy terms before students register or share personal details. The website’s promotion establishes a free service, not a guarantee of a tutor’s immediate availability.
