Monterey Park Thanksgiving Schedule: Trash, Street Sweeping and Transit Changes November 26–27

MONTEREY PARK, Los Angeles County — The city has announced several changes to municipal services for Thanksgiving, Thursday and Friday, November 26–27, 2026.

According to the official holiday notice, City Hall, the Bruggemeyer Library, Langley Senior Center and the Farmers’ Market will be closed both days. The library and senior center are scheduled to resume their normal hours on Saturday, November 28.

Trash and transportation

The city says Ware Disposal collection scheduled November 26–27 will shift one day later. Street-sweeping parking restrictions will not be enforced on those two dates, but this is not a suspension of other parking rules. There will be no Spirit Bus or MPK Transit Express service on Thursday, November 26.

Residents using regional transit providers should check those agencies’ separate holiday timetables. Confirm last-minute changes before scheduling essential travel or relying on a pickup.
